I recently stayed at Monte Do Cerro for a relaxing getaway and absolutely loved it. The rural setting was perfect, surrounded by beautiful countryside and charming wildlife. The accommodation was top-notch, with a cozy log fire that made the evenings so cozy in February. The friendly staff and the owner's warm welcome made me feel right at home. The fully-equipped kitchen and complimentary wood for the fireplace were great bonuses, ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Not to mention, the location was ideal, with Lisbon's stunning beaches and picturesque villages just a short drive away.

Strongly recommend this hotel.

I had a blast engaging in various activities like cycling, horse riding, and even fishing! The views over the ocean and the Natural Park were stunning. Loved chilling on the swing in the outdoor area.

Oh, and let's not forget the joy of smelling the "charming" rural sewage system in the bathroom. Definitely added to the experience.

The terrace and bbq were perfect, cute goats, cosy atmosphere, lovely beaches nearby, good location with beautiful countryside setting, friendly owner.

I had a lovely time staying at this hotel out in the countryside. Everything was spotless, and the staff were incredibly friendly, making me feel at home right away. The hotel facilities, including the fast wifi, were excellent. I also appreciate that there was available parking and that transportation to nearby attractions was easy to arrange. Finally, the location was close enough to the beach that I could enjoy a quick swim and soak up the sun.

Nestled in a beautiful countryside location, this property is still close enough to the beach to be a great base for a summer vacation. The fully equipped kitchen and comfortable bed ensure a relaxing stay, while the covered terrace and BBQ grill offer added comfort. Staff are friendly and welcoming, and the strong Wi-Fi and great views make it easy to stay connected.

monte do cerro in porto covo was the perfect countryside getaway. peaceful, relaxing, and just a short drive from the beach and restaurants. the hosts were welcoming and attentive, ensuring we had everything we needed. we loved the adorable animals, especially the ginger kittens. already planning our next visit!

Spent Xmas at this lovely countryside getaway with my partner and we had a ball! The owner was very friendly and accommodating despite the language barrier. The apartment had a fully equipped kitchen and the bbq worked a treat! Plus, the location was perfect for exploring the stunning coastline and golden beaches just a short drive away. Oh, and did I mention the cute goats?

The road was quite hard to find, even with the directions from the tourist office, but once we got there, we didn't want to leave. We also had some noise from a nearby construction site, but they finished early and it didn't bother us too much.

The countryside surroundings are beautiful and the fresh air was great. The hot bath was quite relaxing after a long day of walking. It was helpful that the cottage was located close to the walking trail and had a fenced area for pets to play in.

The size of the accommodation. The unavailability of the house I booked was not acceptable, as I was only given a small studio instead. The building works created a dusty environment in which to stay. The new cooker in the unit was not working properly which affected any attempts at cooking. I do not feel that I got good value for my money and I would not recommend this accommodation to anyone who requires a comfortable stay.
